Atlas Roofing installs new metal and Colorbond roofs on new builds, extensions, patios and sheds throughout Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast. We work directly with homeowners and builders, install to manufacturer specification and Queensland wind-rating requirements, and provide a written workmanship guarantee on every installation.
A new roof is the one part of a build you cannot easily revisit. Everything above the ceiling gets closed up, and mistakes made at installation surface years later as leaks, condensation, or fasteners that have worked loose in the wind.
We install to manufacturer specification, not to whatever is quickest. That means correct fastener type and spacing for the wind classification, proper flashing detail at every penetration and junction, adequate fall on low-pitch runs, and sarking where the build-up calls for it.
Builders keep using us because we turn up when we said we would and we do not hold up the trades behind us. Homeowners keep using us because we explain the decisions in plain English rather than burying them in a spec sheet.

Roof Installation Questions
Do you work directly with builders?
Yes. We work as the nominated roofing contractor on new builds and extensions across the Fraser Coast, and we are used to coordinating with site supervisors and the trades either side of us in the sequence.
What roofing profiles and colours can I choose from?
We install the full Colorbond range, including corrugated and trapezoidal profiles, in the standard and coastal-grade colour ranges. We bring samples to the quote so you can see them against your walls and in daylight.
Do you install roofs on sheds, patios and carports?
Yes, and to the same standard as a house roof. Smaller structures are often where corners get cut on flashing and fastening, which is exactly why they leak.
How far ahead do I need to book a new roof installation?
