Roof Repairs
Find The Cause. Fix It Once.
Leaks rarely announce themselves until the ceiling stains do. We trace the real source and fix it properly, the first time.
Atlas Roofing repairs leaking, rusted, and storm-damaged roofs across Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast. Emergency callouts are available for active leaks and storm damage. Repairs are quoted free and on-site, and every repair carries a written workmanship guarantee.
Where water shows up inside is almost never where it got in. Water tracks along battens, purlins and ceiling joists before it drops, so a stain above the hallway can easily start at a cracked flashing three metres away. Patching the stain fixes nothing. We start by finding the actual entry point.
The usual culprits on Fraser Coast roofs are predictable: rusted-through sheeting near the gutter line, failed flashings around penetrations, cracked or lifted ridge capping, blocked valleys, and fasteners that have backed out and split their washers. Salt air accelerates every one of them, which is why coastal roofs need attention earlier than inland ones.
If a repair will genuinely do the job, that is what we will recommend and quote. If your roof is at the end of its life and you would be repairing it again next season, we will show you why and price both options so you can decide with the real numbers in front of you.

Roof Repairs Questions
How quickly can you get to an emergency roof leak?
Call 0477 168 747. We offer emergency callouts across Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast, and we prioritise active water entry. Our first job is making the roof safe and stopping the water; the permanent repair is scheduled straight after.
What should I do while I wait for a roofer?
Move people and valuables clear of the water and catch what you can in buckets. Do not get on the roof. Wet roofs are dangerous, and walking on damaged sheeting usually makes the damage worse and the repair more expensive.
Should I repair my roof or replace it?
It depends on how much life is left in the sheeting. Isolated damage on an otherwise sound roof is worth repairing. Widespread rust, repeated leaks in different spots, or sheeting that has thinned across the whole roof usually means repairs stop making financial sense. Our free inspection gives you an honest answer either way.
Do you repair roofs damaged in storms for insurance claims?
Yes. We regularly work with Fraser Coast homeowners on storm and cyclone damage claims. We inspect the damage, photograph and document it, and provide the written reports insurers ask for.
